Alfm was present at the 13th Trophées des Francais de l'étranger organized by Lepetitjournal.com in March.

Congratulations to Pom Madendjian, winner of the Trophee des Alumni des lycées français du monde awarded by the AEFE (Agence pour l'enseignement français à l'étranger), who describes herself as a "pure AEFE product", having spent her entire school career in lycées in Yemen, Vanuatu, Luxembourg and Lebanon.

Today, Pom is editor-in-chief of the French-language magazine La Gazette de Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's only French-language newspaper, and founder of the Festival des auteurs francophones en Malaisie.

In an article for Petitjournal.com, she testifies:

"I spent all my schooling in French lycées abroad, four in all: in Yemen, Vanuatu, Luxembourg and Lebanon. A pure product of the AEFE network! My sons have also systematically attended French lycées in Cape Town, Manila, Ho Chi Minh City and Kuala Lumpur.

First and foremost, I obviously remember the quality and structure of my training, which brought me into contact with a wide variety of profiles and enabled me to go on to top schools in France. I also remember continuity: a solid line, a reassuring system to hold on to when, as a child or teenager, everything around you is constantly changing. A beacon in the midst of perpetual impermanence. And finally, I would say that it was also in the French lycées of the world that I forged many of my deepest friendships and ... met my husband!"

Love it
