New agreement between AEFE, Union-ALFM and CCI France International
On February 13, 2025, Ahmed Mernissi, President of the Union des anciens des lycées français du monde (Union-ALFM), Claudia Scherer-Effosse, Director General of the Agence pour l'enseignement français à l'étranger (AEFE) and Arnaud Vaissié, President of CCI France International, signed an agreement to facilitate and strengthen links between students, alumni and companies.
New career opportunities for members of the alumni network
What does this mean in concrete terms? Under the agreement, the 126 local alumni associations will be able to carry out actions in collaboration with the 120 CCI Françaises à l'International (CCI FI) in 95 countries.
The aim of the agreement is to make it easier for students at French lycées abroad and alumni of the network to discover the world of business. For example, it provides for the participation of French international CCIs and the Union-ALFM in professional events, in particular job fairs organized in schools, so that students can benefit from the expertise of these partners to optimize their career paths.
This new link will offer concrete and immediate opportunities, particularly for third- and tenth-grade students: the CCI FI and Union ALFM are committed to offering them observation internships and thus a first enriching professional experience.
Contacts for potential future recruitment
This partnership also offers companies the opportunity to forge privileged links with French lycées abroad and their alumni associations. These companies will be able to build up a pool of well-trained future professionals, benefiting from the excellence of French education abroad.
