Presentation
The Ecole Francophone Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (EFASE) has over 500 pupils from Petite Section (PS) to Terminale. They come from some fifteen nationalities and are taught in an airy, green and well-maintained environment located in the heart of the city of Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.
EFASE is the only local school in Kigali that prepares French students, both nationals and non-nationals, for the Diplôme National du Brevet (DNB) and the Baccalauréat. It teaches the French national education curriculum and, in line with its values and requirements, encourages exchange and openness to others.
Since its reopening in 2010, the nursery, elementary and junior high school sections have been taught directly, while students in the high school section follow courses taught by the Centre National d'Education à Distance (CNED) in regulated classes.
With teachers from a wide range of backgrounds and professional experience, and committed to the cohesion of the educational community, EFASE's essential aim is to contribute to the training of responsible individuals and citizens, and to promote the acquisition of the knowledge and skills set out in the curricula of the French education system.
